PROGRESS REPORT & REPORT CARD

REPORT CARD

Students will receive a letter grade for the following subjects: English Language Arts- Reading, Writing, and Listening & Speaking; Math; Science (given by the student's Science ELD Switch teacher); Social Studies; Physical Education; and Visual & Performing Arts.  Grades are dependent upon students' scores on in-class assignments, homework, projects, tests, and quizzes.

In addition, students will receive a 1-4 score to indicate students' progress toward achieving the standards.  The Progress Toward Standards score is dependent upon students' proficiency in relation to the standards, and is NOT dependent upon classwork, homework, or projects.

   

WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORT

Every Monday, students will decide on a SMART Goal for the week and write this on the Weekly Progress Report.  On Friday, he/she will reflect on that goal and turn in the Weekly Progress Report for teacher assessment.  Notes about the student's Behavior, Participation & Work Quality, and Homework Completion will be filled out by Ms. Dinh.  

 

On Monday of the following week, students will receive their Weekly Progress Report back to take home and use it as a guide for a Parent-Child Conversation about the week.  Parents need to sign the Weekly Progress Report and return it by Friday.
